Q: Is CoosJobs.Net a hiring aqency?
A: No, we are not a hiring Agency. Using CoosJobs.Net is comparable to reading the help wanted section of a newspaper; Only here you can fill in your resume, apply directly, and use our Resources area & Calendar to find even more ways to connect with employers!
Q: Do I have to post a resume to register?
A: NO! Registering is free and open to anyone who wants to search job postings. However, to apply for a job through CoosJobs.net, you will need a posted resume and a valid e-mail address
Q: Do I have to apply online for a job?
A:Most jobs you will be able to apply for directly online through CoosJobs.net, however, some jobs will have special instructions given. Please check the listing to see if the employer requires you to apply in person, or by mail instead.
Q: Can I change my email address after I register?
The email address that you register with is used to keep track of your account, it is also the address we use to notify you of news, tips & upcoming events. If you need to change your email, you must email us with your old email and the email you'd like to change to. (Follow the same directions to change your password.)
Q: How do I delete my account with CoosJobs.net?
You need to email us with the email address that you registered with and we will delete your account for you.
EMPLOYERS
Q: Can I add a logo or bold text to my listing?
A: The job description box is HTML ready for you to add logos, hyperlinks, or bold text! If you are unfamiliar with HTML, CoosJobs can help with uploading a logo, bold text, or adding a hyperlink. Most of these can be done free of charge! Contact customer service for help.
Q: Does CoosJobs screen resumes on behalf of the employer?
A: While we investigate any reports of fraudulent postings, Coos Jobs does not screen resumes. We strongly encourage all employers to carefully screen applicants and verify any references.
Q: How do I post a job as a "blind" listing?
A: Employers may do confidential listings. To do so please contact CoosJobs directly for special instructions
Q: If I purchase a plan with multiple postings do I have to post them all at once?
A: No! You may post one and then wait and go in later to post your other(s).?
Q: If I fill a position and/or delete my posting early, do I receive some kind of credit?
A: Our prices are charged per posting, and a posting is "up to 30 days". If you need a listing ended early you are welcome to delete it at any time. However, credit is not given for any "unused" time.
